The Greater San Diego Chamber Orchestra
Founded by Dr. Angela Yeung in the fall of 2010, the Greater San Diego Chamber Orchestra is comprised of instrumentalists who enjoy coming together to make and share beautiful orchestral music from all classical periods. The Orchestra’s repertoire includes symphonic pieces, concerti, and choral works with orchestral accompaniment. The Orchestra maintains an active performance schedule throughout the academic year.
The Greater San Diego Chamber Orchestra rehearses at All Saints Episcopal Church (6th and Penn Ave) every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30pm. Instrumentalists of all ages are welcome. Sufficient sight-reading skills are required, and student musicians must be taking private lessons on their primary instrument while enrolling in the Orchestra. The Orchestra has an annual membership dues that are tax deductible as allowable by law.
