Chamber Music Festival

Greater San Diego Music Coterie Chamber Music Festival

The Annual Coterie Chamber Music Festival provides a unique opportunity for chamber-music making and public performance for musicians of all ages and technical levels in an intensive yet non-competitive environment.  Experienced chamber musicians enjoy the challenge of an intense coaching and performance schedule; those of most advanced musical levels may perform along with the coaches at concerts.  Musicians with little or no chamber music experience appreciate the careful grouping of ensembles, selection of pieces, and guidance by experienced coaches.  The gains from each festival surpass those of the chamber music experience alone: musical appetites, self-confidence, and spirit of teamwork are sparked, and lasting friendships are formed.

The Chamber Music Festivals are open to individuals or pre-formed groups (e.g. duet, trio, quartet, etc).  Student participants must be taking private lessons on their primary instrument in order to apply. Auditing is welcome.

Volunteering and donations to the Festivals are most appreciated. Donations are tax-deductible as allowable by law.
