The Greater San Diego Music Coterie, directed by Dr. Angela Yeung, presents the “Prelude to Easter,” a program featuring the Greater San Diego Chamber Orchestra and Chorus, with soloists Irene Marie Patton and Mary Boles Allen.
The program includes the Alleluia Symphony by Joseph Haydn, Great Russian Easter Festival Overture by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, and selections from Part II of Handel’s Messiah, Beethoven’s Christ on the Mount of Olives, and Mendelssohn’s Hymn of Praise. The audience is invited to join in for a sing-along of some of the favorite hymns for Easter.
All performing musicians are fully vaccinated including the booster, and All Saints Episcopal Church offers both indoor and patio seating. A mask is encouraged.
Free admission with free-will donation at the door. A check donation can be tax deductible as allowable by law.
